Helping JustCo build a mobile app to power the Future of Work

What made our partnership with Slash so successful is the trust, dedication and close-knit collaboration of our joint project team. For 14 months, the remote team of Slash operated as a true extension of ours.
Faith Soh, VP Digital Innovation at JustCo

JustCo is building a co-working space platform across Asia Pacific, enabled by a smart digital workplace to encourage collaboration among members. With over 40 centers in APAC and backing from Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC, multi-national property company, Frasers Property, and Japanese real estate giant, Daito Trust, JustCo is building the “Future of Work”.

Over $250m

To support its rapid expansion and digitization, JustCo needed to bring in a tech partner with a dedicated tech team to develop and deploy a first version of the JustCo member’s app. After the successful initial release, a long-term partnership was put in place to support the development of JustCo’s ambitious roadmap. Slash partnered with our friends at Electric8 as one joint team with JustCo to productize, design and develop the tenants' app.

Project Highlights

JustCo turned to Slash to develop their JustCo mobile app to power their smart workplace.

Over a period of ~14 months, we worked closely as one team (business, product and tech) to build the app from scratch, release it, incrementally add features and support its rollout across Asia Pacific destinations.

The app includes features such as managing membership, booking meeting rooms and office guides by location, as well as advanced features such as card-free access, e-store for members with special offers and an e-learning module.

Slash built the mobile app in React Native. The backend was built on Ruby on Rails.
